Common questions

Before you enquire

A few things worth knowing before you get in touch.

Do you take on domestic work?

Our services are built around commercial, industrial, public-sector and infrastructure assets. We don't generally take on small domestic jobs such as single houses.

How quickly can you get to site?

It depends on the location, the access required and current programmes. Tell us the site postcode and how urgent it is, and we'll be straight with you about timescales.

Do you charge for a site visit or quotation?

[To confirm with client.]

What information helps you quote accurately?

The building type and height, what you need inspected or repaired, the site location, any access restrictions and photos of the problem area. Drawings and previous survey reports are useful if you have them.

Can you work on occupied or public buildings?

Yes. Much of our work is carried out on buildings that stay open, which is one of the reasons clients choose rope access over scaffolding. Access plans are written around keeping occupants and the public safe.
